[Q] picture counter

Hi guys,

After i had to flash my stock-ROM again (due to a bootloop), I recognized that the picture counter starts at IMG0001 again. Is there any possibility to set a custom value?

I think I could have saved the camera app with Titanium Backup, but I dont have that backup anymore.

Any other possibility?

I don't quite understand, if you say the counter restarted.. meaning it is overwritting existing pictures?

Anyway, I don't think there is a way to custom set the counter. And its a little bit fishy I think the counter restarted. I usually do wipes, doesn't have that kind of issue. It will just continue after latest numbering in dcim folder. Maybe you change save folder that may cause the picture to get restarted? Because when you wipe/reinstall rom, the default folder for camera app will be in the internal sd, if you have always been saving in external sd before, changing to internal sd will reset the counter because it doesn't find any previous picture files to continue the counter.
