I performed a restore this morning with CWM. After the restore was completed my pictures were all located in the gallery. Its been a couple hours since the restore and now the pictures are gone. Anyone know if I can get them back. Thanks in advance.

I just remembered there were a few more details I left out. Last night I switched from CM 9.1 to CM 10.1. After I installed it my pictures were gone but before when I went from CM 9 to CM 9.1 they were still there. Could this have something to do with it also? The backup I had was the CM 9.1 ROM.

Use a Media Scanner app from the playstore to force your media scanner to scan.

So I installed a media scanner app and it didn't find my pictures. So when a backup is performed in CWM does it backup pictures? I didn't really have any important pics so it's not a total loss. Thank you for all your help.

Your pictures are still there it is just that the media scanner is bugging out. Unless you wiped internal storage.

After the restore I went into gallery and it showed all my albums and well as the number of pictures in each album. The strange thing it that the numbers were going down one by one as the gallery was open. Also I didn't wipe the internal storage.

Yea Im not sure. Try rebooting and then keeping the screen on for 20 minutes.

1. If you didn't format USB storage space - your pictures are still there.
2. They're visible in any file manager, of course, if you find them.
3. CWM backup doesn't back up USB storage space.

It looks like they are gone. I don't know what happened. Hopefully this won't happen to anyone else. Thanks for all your help.

So I got around to checking out that folder today and there wasn't anything in there. I appreciate all of your suggestions. I wish they were still there somewhere but I guess something screwed up.
