Hi all this is Ahmad
i need to know 2 things from you guys
1- When 2.3 will be officially released for DHD, and where to know that is released?
2- If i downloaded apps and games from 4shared.com like this:
search: ninjafruit.apk
and installed it, dose this will have bad affects on my device later, or bad affect
on the update process in the future, and if that is bad how can i make
everything safe again?

1- when desire S launch after 2 months we get update 2.3/2.4
2- just read safely permission that not affect your device before you install

1) there is no official release dates for GB

2) downloading apps from 4shared is illegal, android is susceptable to malware, recently there was a big virus scare at applanet, another pirate apps site, so not only are you breaking the law, putting your personal information and device at risk, but also the future of android, why would a dev continue to waste there money and time developing apps for android, when people like you are stealing from them? they will just move to ios or windows phone .....

If your asking about installing illegally obtained apps to your device and what affect that may have, you've got to accept that people may think your about to do something illegal

I am only want to learn anything about my device in order to be prepared for any situation might happened, that is all.

That's just BS in my ears, if you're not gonna download anything illegal why ask about what might happen to your device if you did and how will you ever end up in a situation where you got a problem out of downloading illegal .apk's if you're not planning to?

How I see it, is that you just hoped it would be safe to download illegal .apk's why else ask?

If that's not the case you've learned absolutely nothing of use since you'll never be in a situation where you've downloaded any illegal stuf and hence useless info...

And no you're not a thief untill you've actually do the download, but you come off as one who thinks about it or is tempted to do it...

Read the posts again then, your questions where answered a few times and yes you'll get judged when you come off as a person who would download illegal .apk's instead of paying for them.

And please stop acting like a victim it just doesn't suite anybody...

Will say this you might think about how or what you ask in the future to avoid miscommunication/understandings...

To answer your 2. question there will always be a risk downloading ripped software from som file host/sharing page as there is with any other OS... So if you choose to download it will be at your own risk and you might get hit by karma on the way...

Great stuff, had a blast reading these I totally agree with Androhero, ghostofcain and Dousan. There is absolutely no point in asking such stuff if you haven't planned to do so in the future. Preparing yourself for a situation that would never happen, according to da_omens writing, is a total waste of time yours, theirs, mine, everyones. And playing the part of a huge victim here...don't hate the player, you know how it goes Oh and seems to me that you got the most appropriate answers to your questions that one could expect on those matters.
