[Q] Plz Help S.U.R.F.A.C.E. v8.02

I have MIUI Mintberry 1.12.25 on my GT-i9000. I was trying to flash a new ROM, S.U.R.F.A.C.E. v8.02. I did wipe data, cache and factory reset in CWM. Then selected the .zip of SURFACE. But after reboot, its still MIUI Mintberry. Plzz help..

I had used WIPE edition of SURFACE ROM.

Well surface rom is based on jw1, and i don't think miui is based on jw1, so you should flash stock jw1 from odin then from there flash surface rom via recovery. Try it and tell me how it goes.

I am not able to get JW1 Stock ROM for Galaxy S. Can I flash 2.3.6 rooted I9000XWJVZ by Stock+.....???

What do u mean you can't get it? And I don't think so I think you shud be on jw1 bcuz that's wat the rom is based on.

you can get JW1 stock firmware from here.. flash using odin with all.. but this will be an unrooted version I think..

you can get base JW1 from Darkyrom.com .. I think that'll be the best option..

yes this will be unrooted but you can just flash semaphore or any other kernel with cam and then flash surface
