Some people said it's only some few unlucky ones who got this this problem, but when I see that all the people who have it and got it on 2-3 different devices, I am wondering how big is the percentage of flickering screens on the overall One X army...
Please even if your device doesn't have the flickering issue, VOTE too!

TEST PROCEDURE:
-Minimum brightness and Maximum brightness settings
-preview the greyish snow and sun wallpaper in the ''HTC Wallpapers'' section

If the greys are ''dancing'' then you have flickering

We've got plenty of threads discussing this already, my first one did. Got a grey that doesn't. My replacement white so far touch wood doesn't flicker but becomes noticeable after a few days so will monitor it before I decide what to do.

added my vote

if you want to do a flex poll go ahead, but i dont think a lot of people visit the QA especially not happy ones ;)

i personally think flex is in all One X it has to do with poly-carbonate relaxing on heat

Yey already 75% of good devices!
And as you said, we have naturally more deceived people in Q&A section
The ''advantage'' of flex is that it shows from first day so you can always ask for an exchange while the flickering can begin after a week

Explanations on the flickering

@jplayer
can you add a link to a video of flickering?
Unfortunately it looks impossible to make.
Indeed I tried with a few phones to take a video and the flickering is too fast to appear on the video. It's horrible to watch in real but not visible at all on the video.
The refresh rate is probably to high to get seen by the camcorder.

However here is my personal description of the flickering if that can help you :
It looks like the backlight of the screen isn't refreshed fast enough. As if it wasn't powered enough. This idea of bad powering can be right as for me the flickering intensity was changing along discharge. Anyway the backlight is acting weirdly with a strobing effect and it's hard to watch on some color. (mostly grey)
It's as if a few LEDs,not all of the backlight switched on/off 10-15times per second

None of those :)
It's as if only a few leds of backlight were blinking It nevers go completely dark on any region of the screen. The whole display remains on.
Could also be some kind of overpowering on a few leds that gives the feeling of getting flash strobes from your screen.

For the second video in no way the flickering affects the global form of what is displayed.

I voted and then watched the video. No, that's NOT what I mean. My phone flickers a little bit in settings when I scroll (whole screen gets darker/brighter very quickly). I do NOT have the problems mentioned in that video on the first page.

got the problem posted on the 1st page, however it only happens if i move the notification bar really slowly near the top.

also it only happens in Sense and not in Nova launcher.

aside from that no flicker
