Turn off your phone, hold the volume down and power buttons until it says fastboot. Press ONLY the down arrow until you see android recovery, then press the volume up button. Only if you already have CWM flashed. If not use rom manager from the market.

When i go into recovery only an exclamation sign with the android pet appears, then it stays that way. That i know of white or yellow text should appear.

You have to use rom manager then. Get it from the market and select flash CWM recovery. You can then use it to boot to recovery.

Sometimes the hardware in the phone isn't compatible. The ATRIX has had quite a few revisions

You can install a gingerbread fruitcake. Then go from there. What carrier do you use? I am american and use At&T so my fruitcake wouldn't help much.

Mine came with FROYO 2.2.1, im LATAM.
That means im from latinamerica.
That i know of there are 3 versions of GINGERBREAD:
-TELCEL
-MOVISTAR
-Carrier-free.

I installed the carrier-free version since i dont like the crapps they put in the phone, and itself the phone worked well untill i unlocked and rooted it.

Gotta add that after i upgraded to GB, the phone didnt charged at 100%

Now that i installed the ramfix the phone is working well, the only things to be fixed are:
-Notification tray bug.
-Doesn't charge to 100%

I'm getting the Samsung Galaxy S Advance soon BTW, i cant wait to try Jelly Bean!

Try this ROM. Its non carrier specific. But I'm not sure about being international. Make a FULL NANDROID BACKUP FIRST!

This is not the one I am currently running, but I have run it before and it works great. The only thing not working is the fingerprint sensor and video camera. You may also want to install a video player like MXPlayer. I had some problems with mine but not everyone does. To get your data to work you will need to edit your APN settings. Let me know if this works so I know if I should suggest it to others also

You don't know much about custom ROMs, do you?
I suggest you start reading and educate yourself. Not wanting an aftermarket ROM is perfectly fine, to each their own, but at least be properly informed for the decision and have the right reasons. Otherwise your statements just make you look stupid. For example, you were talking about using the leaked ROM earlier. That is a non-official ROM too...

Because of the videocamera not working, all i want is to fix the notification tray issue.
I am using the atrics v2.0 rom. Everything is functional and it is not carrier specific. It is another leaked version of ICS for the ATRIX. It is stock with blur, and EVERYTHING WORKS! There is also no notification tray lag. Try this and you will be stock with a fixed notification tray.
