I had an ATT Galaxy S2 i777 running CM 10.2 that wouldn't unlock with the carrier specified code. Then I realized I needed to return to stock before unlocking. I am traveling in Thailand without a PC so I used mobile odin to flash a rooted stock ATT 4.0 tar (obtained from creepyncrawly on xda-developers http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2236727) and rebooted and everything seemed fine with the stock image. Except.. that the unlock code still fails. It gives every time "network unlock request unsuccessful". I have used 4 of my 5 attempts before the device will permanently lock.
Does anyone here have any suggestions to try before my final attempt? I have contacted att multiple times and so far they have offerred no help. I will post this over at cyanogenmod forum as well.
