[Q] Purple screen everywhere... what it is?

Hello everyboby...
Today a friend give me his tab 7 because he replaced it with a new 10.1 2
The p1000 have a little problem: the screen is psychedelic and all in purple color
I don't want to buy spare parts for nothing and i need to know if someone never had the same problem....
Purple color is always present, in the startup, during the bootanimation, in the recovery and even in download mode...
What i have to do to solve the problem? I must change the lcd panel?
I restore the rom from the rocery, i try all the cm9 setting but it's an hardware's problem
The rest is working perfectly...
Camera take fine photo and standard screenshot if i look him on a pc...

Hey we don't have the same device I have a 10.1 Gtab but mine just started to show this problem... did you ever found out what the problem was.?

Hey, I'd first try to restock (using Odin and GB safe rom from the Overcome thread).
If it still have the problem it would imply a hardware problem.

Well that is my last step I have already tried 3 ROMs but since I get the purple effect on the Recovery I think this is a HW problem, still I'll give it a try with the STOCK Odin Image later today...

Samsung said it was a HW defect...

I'll let you know..

Update: Tab is back to stock and problem remains definitely a HW problem.

In the morning i open the tab and try to disassemble the lcd panel... i found a plug that was placed in an uncorrect position!!!
I have reassembled all the part and now work fine!!!
Was an hw problem...
