[Q] Pushing files via ADB?

When you push a file to your phone, say the email fix (Email.apk) for Cyanogen Mod 6, do you just push the file to the location of the file you want over-written, and then just reboot?

One more question, can you brick your device by pushing files?

It all depends on if you just want to push an .apk or actually install an .apk. I assume thats what you want to do by your reference.

It's just a fix so I assume just push it :/

.apk applications can be installed though by using Astro and App Manager correct?

Oh, ya you can brick your phone while pushing files. one wrong directory and thud! It's a brick. But thats a high BAC to get those directories wrong.
