[Q] [q] root fail

So i follow the step from http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...erral|utmcct=/watch&__utmv=-&__utmk=231967644 which is from XDA and I stuck at "Start" part , I click start after I select the PDA file and it stuck at setupconnection for a long time . I close Odin and reopen and try again , this time it proceed and failed during recovery , It write :

PLEASE HELP ME I'M NEW TO ROOTING

Why

So I took the battery out and restart it and everything seems fine
But I have a question , why did i fail the root ? I follow the step but still fail

Did you turn off Reactivation lock in Settings?
If is it ON, you wont be able to wipe or root your device.
