Guys I need an information.

I returned to stock version (Lollipop, sense 6) through RUU.exe stock ROM and now I see that I have now HTC SDK API level/unknown.

I searched in the forum and I've seen that also some other people have same problem but I haven't seen any solution how to fix it without root.

It is strange why RUU does not fix when it flashes and wipe the phone completely.

Does it supposed to fix this problem? Is there any solution how to fix SDK API level?

Does it effects anything the phone? I believe it causing problem with automatic connection Wireless connection. When I enter home it does not connect automatically. I have to open the phone, go to wifi then it start to connect.

Or it does not effect phone performance.

Thanks for any info you may have.

Regards,

The answer is simple, the RUU doesn't include the proper SDK API level.

I RUU'ed to 4.16.1540 (Dev Edition) and SDK API level was unknown, and others have noted the same.

SDK API level is irrelevant, and doesn't effect anything (and therefore doesn't need to be "fixed"). The coincidence of this and your WiFi problem is a red herring.

If you are using security on your WiFi network, make sure its WPA or WPA2. WEP is known not to play well with this device, and is obsolete (not that secure) anyway, and WPA and WPA2 is recommended.

Also, try power cycling the WiFi router, and pairing again.
