[Q] Question about roms.

First off, I just want to say that I hope I am posting this in the appropriate place for Rom related question.

Anywho, I just got my Droid X yesterday. Since then, I have rooted the phone. I also flashed the "928Droid" rom. Now, I know this works out of the box because its Deodexed.

My question is, Are all the Roms for the Droid X all like this? I heard if you try to install a Rom without Deodex, you could brick the phone. I was curious because I have heard alot of great things about the Rom Tranquility. I just want to know if I have to manually Deodex it or if it would work out of the box.

Maybe I should rephrase this.

The 928droid rom automatically "Deodexes" your phone. Do I have to do a manual Deodex If I want to run Tranquility, Even if I wipe data/cache?

Or once you run the 928droid rom, it takes care of the Deodex until you do a SBF?

Correct. You don't need to do that unless you sbf.
