[Q] [Question] MS2 Ginger 3.0 NG

Hello,

I have some doubts about installing MS2 Ginger 3.0 made by Walter79.
I have green lense camera(SOC) and I have already installed WajkIUI.

Now i want to reflash again full sbf (JRDNEM_U3_3.4.2_179-002_DEBLUR_SIGN_SIGNED_UCAJRDNEMARAB1B80AA03A.0R_PDS03C_USAJRDNFRYORTCEE_P016_A016_HWp3_Service1FF.sbf), then root my phone, install Snd-init and then i would like to install MS2 Ginger NG 3.0.

My Questions:
1. How can I install MS2 3.0? Just like 2.1 for example?
2. Which fixed sbf should I install?
3. When should I install fixed sbf? Before or after installing MS2?

Once you install 2.1 through NAND backup, then 3.0 can be installed on top of 2.1 with just restroing system. We dont need to flash fixed sbf in that case.

I was running 2.1, wipe data/cache, wipe dalvik, and restored 3.0 system and rebooted. Have been with 3.0 from the day its released.

But I would like to install clean 3.0 build. Without installing anything except clean full sbf.
So, what should I do?

I don't think clean and stable ms2g 3.0 is released yet. The nandroid backup contains just the system partition which should be used to restore on top of already running ms2.1. For the stable 3.0 we should wait for some more time. I have been with 3.0NG from the day its released and its quite good.

Walter has released the stable MS2G 3.0 on 5th Feb. I have been running the same in my defy.

You can give it a shot. Since this contains only the system partition, we should install 2.1 and upgrade to 3.0.

For 2.1, get the nandroid backup from walters post. Wipe cache/data, wipe dalvik cache and restore system, data, boot, devtree and recovery.
Then restore system from 3.0 nandroid backup.
