I'm looking for a way to temporary root my Android Desire Z ... What should I need to know at first, and what is the tools that I should use. Also, how can I unroot the phone after that ... Thanks.

Assuming you are on gingerbread, run the 'Gaining Temp-root' and 'Temp-rooting to backup' from this guide

To undo it, just reboot the phone.

use visionary, then be unhappy when you are holding a brick
im just kidding, dont temp root - full root. there few good reasons not too, amd you can always unroot your phone.
anyway why do you need temp root? something specific i gather?

I need to test some apps that requires root access .. so I wanted to temporary root the device and then unroot it once finished using the apps.

The guide nipqer linked you to will suffice, after your test is complete I suggest you consider permentley rooting your phone as I'm sure you will be most happy this way

I have another thing, how can I be sure that the device is rooted? I mean, how can I test it??

download an app that requires root and then see if it works, i think there is even an app that just checks for root

download terminal emulator from the market and type in the command "su"
