Earlier I was trying to root my sidephone which is the 4G AT&T Xperia Play. I found out that the bootloader cannot be unlocked and read in another recent thread that the guy here on XDA that did it is no longer available. So i found that there are roms that can be used on a locked bootloader. I found one i liked called Gin2Kitkat so i went ahead and downloaded it. i read the instructions there which thankfully also had root and CWM installation instructions. Did all that, all went well. Checked to see if i could boot into CWM, worked by tapping the volume.
Anyhow, i rebooted into the system, kissed stock goodbye and went back to CWM. Wiped everything, installed the Gin2kitkat rom and succeeded! Nice!
Problem is it doesnt boot...so i would like to recover to stock and IDK how to use the Flashtool. It asks for .sin files when I have been provided .ftf files in links guiding on restores.
If possible, can I just flash some other rom guaranteed to boot???
