[Q] Random notification sounds

Hello. I've noticed that my Nexus 5 sometimes makes a notification sound, but when i look at the phone there is nothing, no call, no message's, nothing at all. This happens once a day, pretty much every day.

Anyone else having this problem?

If I had to quess I would say it's the NFC notification. Do you have NFC enabled and maybe a NFC chip in one of your ID cards? I had the same "problem" with my Galaxy Nexus until I noticed it was the ID in my wallet and everytime I placed the phone on my wallet it would play the NFC notification.

No. NFC is disabled and was all that time. My only guess left is that a game is pushing notifications, i have the games that push notifications disabled via settings app menu, but maybe that's what's making the sound without the actual notification? If that's true, then that's a bug in KitKat's notification disable function...
