[Q] Reactivation Lock Question

I cannot flash anything with Reactivation Lock ON, and I heard that if I turn this feature OFF, I can flash anything.
My device, SM-G900H is not rooted and my question is:
Will this feature be available after root?

It is a very cool feature that my device cannot be stolen with this feature ON.

If you go back to a Touchwiz ROM you can re activate it. but if you have an issue that you need to re-flash or the phone is unbootable, you could run into issues. The feature is not an option from CM12

So, it will work on rooted-official rom? You tried it?

Anyone else tried it?

Rooted and reflashed stock rom. Feature still there on Canadian version
