I have an application that I wrote to shut my sons captivate down. We are both running Fusion XII with the corn kernel but his doesnt have a SIM card. It works perfectly on mine yet never seems to work on his. I have even tried having my phone doing the same thing as his (playing music) and it still shutdown exactly when it was supposed to. Could the lack of a SIM card cause reboot to not execute?
