[Q] recommended roms?

hey guys,


Just bought myself an atrix 4g and was wondering what rom you guys would recommend using.


I'd prefer one that still has the webtop functionality and fingerprint scanner if possible.


and one without motoblur, again if at all possible.

The Feb 20th build they talk about here near the end of the thread is the one i am rocking and the FP works great it also allows use of FP navigation and scrolling witch is pretty cool. Im not sure on how well the webtop works with it. I done have or use one.

I have also read good thing about redpill, alien, and neutrino

I´ve been using neutrino, pretty good.
CM7 is also great.
If you want to stick with a more "motorola" experience, try "The Dark Side"

Best blur based rom so far IMO is Nottachtrix 4G. Rock solid. I have been getting great battery life out of it. No reboots. No FC. Perfect FP. Aroma installer. Freaking good. I have tried everything, from 2.2 to CM9, almost all roms, and i always keep going back to Nottachtrix 4G. Awesome rom.

I find it to be the most usable rom.

The CM based mods (Neutrino, redpill) have a few more bells and whistles.

I using the CM7 nightly 5-feb-2012 cause the 20-feb was unstable in my phone, but I also recommend the CM7 nightly builds + Faux123 24r2 1.0GHZ kernel + N_01.100.00R Radio
