[Q] Recover Files with out USB Debugging

Hi,
Okay I have a friends Rogers Samsung Galaxy S Captivate.
Screen is smashed...totally black and non rersponsive
USB Debugging is not enabled
I need to recover the pics as they cannot be replaced.
Anyway to do it?
I really don't want to buy a new screen just to save the pics.
It is rooted and running Hellybean.
She has since got a N4 but is really desperate to retrieve the pics.

Any ideas?
