Hi, I've got the Xperia Arc S running gingerbread 4.0.2.A.0.42. I've rooted it using Super One Click and installed Rom Manager. But when i try to install the CWM i says that i have already one. Then, i tried to boot into it and I can't! I have a locked bootloader. Please Help! I want CM10

for cm10 you need to unlock your bootloader to flash fxp/cm10/aokp kernels.

if u cannot unlock it due to warranty issues try out other ICS custom roms in dev section which support locked bootloader.

many of them have features of ICS-JB combined .

Sony devices have no recovery partition, so you can't install a recovery on the normal way. If you want to stay on gingerbread, install DoomKernel v22, so you automatically get a recovery

I thought I've seen some guy who is working in a CWM for Xperia devices that will allow us to flashing kernels on locked bootloaders

Incorrect - flashing a kernel requires a unlocked bootloader end of. Now for the installation of CWM on locked bootloader, it can be installed to the system partition and booted from there, you could use this application to install the required for you http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1437840.

Thank you, but I know it. I told that CWM maybe will be released in the future for locked bootloaders, so we will be allowed to flash custom kernels, sorry for my poor english

I have an Xperia Pro with locked bootloader...

You can install CWM through x-parts, from playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwyLDIxMiwiY29tLnB2eS5DV01pbnN0YWxlciJd

Or using RecoveryX:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773227

Both methods will be deleted if you wipe system partition... which you'll pretty much do when flashing a zip rom.

there are good Roms out there for locked bootloaders... I've tried these 3 and they are great!.
