I've a Onda v812 tablet.
My power button is half-way broken. (Yep, kid+tablet=wooden floor)
Now I want to make the HOME hardware key to act just like the power key.
I've managed to edit /system/usr/keylayout/sw-keyboard.kl
In this file I've changed "key 102 HOME" to "key 102 POWER WAKE" (also tried 'wake_dropped')
Well, now I can turn on and off the screen with the home button BUT when I leave the screen off for more than 5 sec, it will not wake up…
So, any tips or help? Love from Norway!
