Hey all,

So I'm finally deciding to root my stock (JI6) Vibrant and install one of the custom Froyo ROMs thanks to our great developers. I was holding out for awhile to give Samsung and T-Mobile a chance to give us a stock OTA Froyo, but that doesn't seem to be happening.

I have read through (most) of the various rooting and flashing guides and think I have a pretty good grasp on it. My only concern is that if I ever need to get my Vibrant sent in for warranty exchange or repair, it seems that I can get completely back to stock and hide my tracks, except for removing clockwork recovery and reverting back to the stock recovery. Is this possible? I have searched around a bit and cannot seem to find any answer.

Seemingly, it would be easy for them to boot into recovery and see that I have CW going, and deny any warranty claims based on it. This is the only thing that troubles me.

It doesn't... I still have to manually delete old files from my phone.. You would need to ODIN back and then unmount internal sdcard and format to get back to original. IMO.. I have never had any ROM CWM or ODIN delete anything other then usernames, passwords, user apps, on my phone. All pics, music, videos, files are still there.

No Odin doesnt clear the SD internal or external. He asked to clear Clockwork Recovery. If you want to clear the memory cards, I just format them.
