My HTC One has a defective USB port (charging works but connection to PC doesn't)
Now I want to bring it in for repairs and for that purpose take it back to stock recovery and empty rom.

Since the USB port is busted I can't use ADB or anything like that so I'm looking for a (TWRP recovery) flashable file that let's me return to complete stock.

My phone is S-OFF and can stay that way for repairs in the Netherlands so just recovery and rom would be fantastic.

Hi @Rubman I was starting the same discussion for the same problem.
Unfortunately I don't have any good idea to solve the problem, I solved my personal problem buying another (bricked) One for a few Euros and rebuilting it (bootloader, Recovery, ROM, firmware, etc...) and importing everything from my old One.

Really hope someone will be able to find a solution for us, I don't want to manually open by myself my One (I know it's really dangerous for back cover & LCD).

I'm not buying another M7 since my M7 is still under warranty (S-OFF shouldn't be a problem for repairs since it's hardware related)

I am currently on 6.09.401.11 and for upgrading towards Lollipo I need a stock recovery.
However since my USB port on the phone is broken I can't do anything with ADB so just flashing via ADB isn't an option. I read about Guru Resets and wanted to try that. Found one on androidfilehost that seemed ok but that one just hangs at 10% with a message System is unmounted already.

Does anyone have a Gurureset for 6.09.401.11 or any other method to flash a stock recovery from TWRP It would be greatly appreciated.

I think best way is asking directly @crushalot (Recognized Contributor in ARHD), he's the owner of that site

My problem is bigger than yours: unlocked, TWRP, S-off, SuperCID, ARHD :silly:

As I know HTC assistance is very strict with who modifies even just the software of their own phone.
So, here in Italy, if I should send my phone in the HTC assistance they would reject it as not repairable.
Already happened with other HTC phones.
So I will buy USB port from rounded (Holland) and I'll try to repair it by myself if someone will not suggest another solution

I found a sollution by downloading a guru-reset rom or Nandroid stock backup and installing one of these through TWRP.
if you only need the stock recovery install Flashify from the play store and flash a stock recovery.

I'm now busy restoring a stock nandroid backup to install Lollipop update and after a few days i will send my phone back to the store for repairs.
