Ok, so I'm no newby to this but I have a question. I've had my captivate since shortly after launch and have been flashing since then. I recently did a warranty exchange and got my new one in today.

The sticker under the battery is different from my original, so I am guessing it's a Refurb and not new. The Rev # is 1007 which is what I had. But when I got into service mode and check the RFCAL DATE is it 01-08-2011. My current 1007 rev phone has an RFCAL DATE of 07-11-2010.

I'm curious if anyone knows if this means hardware was swapped or something like that? I've probably flashed my phone 200 times, literally, and the RFCAL DATE never changes.

Any ideas?

Use this app to check if the device is refurbished or not:

Phone INFO ★Samsung★ > Menu > 'Refurbishment Check'.

Regards.
