Using a TMobile T595 on Wind Mobile network in Canada, due to combination of carrier and phone the signal quality I get is very poor especially indoor.
Observations in the past few weeks:
- Wind Mobile SIM Card in Motorola XT720 - Average 7+ ASU than T959, so issue with the phone
- While I was in Michigan and roaming on TMobile network. Walked in to a BestBuy store with Nexus S on display. Side-by-side both phone on Tmobile UTMS Nexus has 13 ASU while T959 had 7 ASU
- In Target store, the sales person had the same T959 on Tmobile UTMS, he had 17 ASU while I had 9 ASU. The sales person was running on ROM 2.1 JI6 while I am on 2.3 JK6
Can someone jump in and explain? Which ROM has the best RF reception or how to improve it? I love this phone, with the weak RF I am only using it as a PDA.
