Quick question about ROM Manager and the Xoom.

Is it safe to use?

I have been using it on an OG Droid for a long time (mostly just as a front end for backups), but I noticed that you can't use it until you allow it to flash recovery. Will it flash the same recovery that is described in the many posts here on SDA that protect the internal storage during wipes?

Thanks
Jeff

Do not flash 4.X.X.X CWM from ROM manager. You will loose access to your external SD card. You should use CWM 3.2.2 which is only available in the development section. It's pinned to the top, solarnz is the OP.

Thanks...that was the impression I had. Unfortunately, unless you have flashed the recovery from ROM Manager, you really can't do much with it.

I like to use it to create Nandroid backups with better descriptive names than the date/time stamp filenames, but I guess I will survive!
