[Q] Root 3VO Now Or Later?

So as some of you might now perm-root is finally out for the Evo 3D !!! Now my question is, since HTC is supposed to start unlocking bootloader these upcoming months should I (A) wait for HTC's update, or (B) root my 3VO myself?!?! I just want to know if there will be any benefit to holding out till HTC's update or not.

By the looks of things HTC is developing a way that will allow them to track people who use their tool to get S-OFF. I would say do it yourself, it doesn't get any easier than the way AlphaREV and Unrevoked have set it all up.
