So, i have the HTC Gratia A6380 (wich i've understand is the same as aria, just the EU version)
and been trying to find a way to root it. But i havent managed to yet. I have looked around in the dev forum
but it seems that most of the tutorials are either old or have dead links.
I've tried some auto 1 click rooters but those i've tried just restarts my phone before the end.
So im wondering if anybody knows a working tutorial that works as of today and the links aren't broken.

Also, i figured i could provide my device info.

(poor translation?) Basebandversion:27.54.35.20U_7.13.35.13

Thanks in advance :D!

I would recommend to S-OFF the phone first via this: http://revolutionary.io/
I think you first have to OTA up to hboot 1.02 so this can work, but I'm not sure... maybe it works with the old hboot as well. Just try out. When you have S-OFF, just flash a recovery via fastboot and flash SuperSU via recovery and you are done. Good luck!

I had an old Aria with CM7 on it, HBoot 0.57 and S-ON. Ran through a bunch of things before getting it to work...overall, the "right" way is quite simple...

I used the official AT&T 2.2 Update package to get Hboot updated to one that revolutionary would be able to root, then revolutionary ran without a hitch.

Once HBoot is at 1.02 and S-OFF, you're pretty much free to install any recovery or ROM as needed - I am giving 4.4 a shot.
