[Q] Rooting, installing CWM and new ROM without SD Card?

Hi there I was just wondering if it's possible to install CWM and at least root my HD+ without an SD Card as I don't have one? I understand that this would mean that I'd need to write the new recovery over the original and so on.

This makes me sad Not because I don't have one, but because I either keep borking them somehow or loose them. I just know I have two working bootable sd cards here somewhere... why do they make those teeny things black anyway?

After you've rooted/flashed from the SD Card is it possible to flash a recovery image to the HD+ so you don't have to keep using the SD Card to flash new images? If I have to put the SD Card in each time to update a nightly image this is going to get real frustrating real quick...

After more reading and digging it looks like you can flash the internal recovery. verygreen has CWM recoveries that work with CM11 listed here.
