Hi there I was just wondering if it's possible to install CWM and at least root my HD+ without an SD Card as I don't have one? I understand that this would mean that I'd need to write the new recovery over the original and so on.

After more reading and digging it looks like you can flash the internal recovery. verygreen has CWM recoveries that work with CM11 listed here.After you've rooted/flashed from the SD Card is it possible to flash a recovery image to the HD+ so you don't have to keep using the SD Card to flash new images? If I have to put the SD Card in each time to update a nightly image this is going to get real frustrating real quick...
And I have flashable recoveries for internal memory in my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature.
