for those wishing a different boot animation, if you're just requesting a different one coming standard, that's fine, anyone can change that by looking in the Themes section of the board and downloading one of the Boot Animations and moving the .zip file to the /system/media folder, just FYI

Not the point... It's confusing and most of us would like to know which booting stage we're in. I know we can change it, but we like the idea of the current one, it just needs tweaking!

When you say that you want to know what stage of booting you're in, what do you have in mind? Like a BIOS boot or something? Any boot animation wont show you anything but the little movie that it is. Some are short and loop, others just play through once, but they are just short movies basically.

I think this should stay as close to stock Google as possible.

By trying to add in all this sense stuff... why don't you guys just use a sense rom and install the gingerbread launcher. That's basically what you want this rom to be.

I enjoy this rom because of how minimal it is. Please keep sense junk out.

I would also like RoyalGinger to be as close to stock google as possible. Keep things simple while improving on more important things like stability and speed! I can add a bunch of stuff to the ROM myself if I feel like customizing it. I'm loving the added themes though. Just wish that they were 100 percent fully working and implemented correctly with awesome preview images for them all.

You can easily change a bootanimation. That shouldnt be a request. A request should be something only a developer or a chef can do.

adding screen transitions and the ability to pick them? like fly out or flipout etc.
