[Q] RUU Asia WWE - does it have handwriting and is it higher version?

Hi guys.

I found a post with the official "asia" WWE english froyo ROM for my desire here

However, before I download and flash the ROM I wanted to find out if anyone knows -

1. does it have the stock HTC_CIME chinese handwriting IME built into the Asia rom?

2. the filename ROM has version 2.13.707.1 and mine is something like 2.10.... - I have the WWE stock which was running 2.09 before an OTA a couple of days ago.

Does anyone know what new features / updates might be in 2.13 or if there is barely a change? Being in China, waiting for 100+ MB downloads to find they're not worth it is a pain. But I would REALLY like the chinese handwriting IME as it works really well and helps with my learning

Get LeeDroid Roms
they have handwriting built in

downloaded, installed and removed the Leedroid ROM.

I cannot put up with that ridiculous splash screen and sense started crashing in an infinite loop from the first boot

I bought HTC because I like sense. I don't need two launchers!

you have a special case there, I didn't have that problem and Leedroid didn't modify the Sense UI, nor did he add 2 launchers...

*edit* you can change the boot anim easily

the first things the lee droid rom asks is if you want to run sense or launcher2

Really? never happened to me, you can just select choose defualt and htc sense and it will never bother you again.

Launcher 2 is probably the defualt android launcher

hense a sense force close loop if it crashes and you choose that as a default...

meh, its buggy and didn't work. I'd rather stick with a stock rom and root it.
