Has anyone found a fix for the RW issue with external media storage? My OUYA automounts all USB storage devices I have, but I can't write to anything; the closest I've seen to a fix is making the OUYA mount as an SD for App2SD capabilities (I just want to write...).

Do you mean general things like emulator saves and such (or transferring from the OUYA to external for data) or transferring apps to the external?

In the case of the first, you have to have it in FAT32 format. I think someone got OTG Helper to work to change that, but not sure.

If you're talking about transferring apps, there's a way on the unofficial forms, but I'm not sure about it.

I'm talking about just raw data like saves and pictures. It is a fat32 format, formatted it myself before I put my ROMs on it.. Guess I'll just try again.

This thread http://forums.ouya.tv/discussion/1745/fix-for-usb-flash-or-hard-drive-not-supported completely resolved my external drive problems (even 1tb powered external drive with AVCHD files for XBMC) until yesterday's firmware update.

Now no joy....even after re-rooting and re-editing the file.

UPDATE: Apparently the "fix" described in the link above is no longer necessary. I reverted to the vold.fstab file that came with the most recent firmware upgrade and my USB devices are once again available, even on XBMC.
