Does anyone know the 16-Digit Password for the Fascinate? I have tried brute forcing it with almost every known samsung password but none work! Does anyone know the method used to retrieve the password? Is it done by dumping a specific memory range or do these passwords just get leaked by samsung? Willing to pay for the password at this point if anyone can point me in the right direction. TIA!

It's needed to change specific settings/service programming in QPST/QXDM and other CDMA tools.

None of the known Samsung ones out there seems to work, unfortunately.

Attached is a screenshot taken on ipchicken. As you can see im getting a sprint dns pool and the model is showing SCH-I500. I guess I could have faked this by tethering the phone to another phone already on sprint, but this is the best proof I can think of.

So you got your Fascinate on Sprint? Can you take a video of it dialing *2? I think that would be the ultimate proof.

Not trying to doubt you here man, just want to be on the safe side.

Guys, as per the forum rules, you can't solicit payment up-front.

That's not in the spirit of the forum, and I would suggest the user claiming to have the code may wish to post it, and accept donations to make up the cost.

Selling this code isn't allowed on the forum, so I have removed the offer of sale from the thread. I will leave this open, but if it returns to talk of selling it, this will be closed.

OK here is the 16 digit key

    2010031619780721

Is it just me, or does that password look like dates? Looks like March 16, 2010 and July 21, 1978. I wonder what the significance of those dates is, if that's really what they are. Anyone got any conspiracy theories? ^_^

    i100 GEM 16 digit password

Has the 16 digit password for the gem been discovered yet because I can't find it anywhere and every forum i've seen it asked for no one has replied.

As a matter of fact it has. I have personally tested this one on the generic i100 firmware. Here it is: 2010031619780926

For what it is worth, I due strongly believe that this is the same password used for the R880 if that matters to anyone out there. I just didn't have one to verify. I won't go into a long winded explanation as to why I think it is the same, but there is good reason to believe it.
