[Q] Screen goes blank during call[NOT standard feature]

Hey you guys!​

I Just bought a used HTC Legend, got it rooted and is currently using Rodriguezstyle MoDaCoMoDrOm V2.3 Fix Vivid Sense ROM and I'm loving it!

BUT!, when somebody calls me or I make a call, the screen goes blank, I know it's a standard feature, BUT when the call has ended the screen wont turn on again! I have tried pressing the power button and all the other buttons but nothing happens, the when i press the home, menu etc. fast after eachother the phone vibrates like its actually alive just with a turned off screen.

I have tried other Roms, same problem

Can i turn the "blank screen" feature off somewhere?

seems like the proximity sensor on the phone being block. are u using any 'bumper' or casing? ever try removing it?

anyway, to ur ques: nope. not aware abt turning off the feature but i like the feature. it prevent user from accident tap anything when doing a call.
