[Q] sd-card issue after reformatting - can't record smooth HD anymore - CM7

I am having issues with my SD-Card after reformatting it.

IO is horrible, its so bad i can't record HD video any more.

i used the gpart live cd to delete, repartition and format the card using one 16GB fat32 partition.

The card is a kingston 16GB class 4.


What have i done wrong?

what steps did you follow?

did you format the card as a physical disk instead of a logical one? if so, that might be the issue.

can you do that? Did not think that one could.

I will redo everything and make sure.

oh wait, i apologize. that step is used when making a gold card and don't know if it applies when formatting a card only. sorry, it was late
