Recently bought a Motorola Xoom WiFi Only. To my surprise, I found out that whilst the 3G version has a SD Card reader, the WiFi Only version doesn't. I have read about unlocking and rooting the Xoom to enable USB OTG but seeing it is only 1 week old, I'd rather not go down that path.

So my question is :

Does anyone know of a SD Card Reader that connects to the Xoom via Bluetooth ? Come to think of it, does such a beat exist ?

Thanking everyone in advance for their help.

Cheers

The xoom wifi has a micro SD card slot just the same as the 3g model does. Simply remove the little cover on top of your xoom next to the headphone jack and Voila there's your micro SD slot. I have been using mine since day 1

G'Day Mate.

Thanks for the tip. I didn't realize the MZ604 had a MicroSD Card Reader. I inserted my MicroSD without any issues. The Storage are picked up that I had an SD card there. But for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to access it. I installed File Expert which shows me the 32GB Internal Memory as the "SD Card".

Can you please tell me how to access my files on the MicroSD ?

Thanking you in advance.

Don't know if this will help but on my US MZ604 using FX file explorer when I open it I go into system then mnt then external 1. I am rooted and on ics 4.04 so may not work for you but if it does bonus!

Hi all! It has been a while but I'd like to offer a BIG thank you to everyone who helped. NWinfuse helped me realize my MZ604 did have a SD Card slot. postalbilly made me realize that I needed a new software. So I purchased File Manager HD. Under the heading External, I can see the content of the SD Card. Thank you, thank you, thank you. My life is a little bit easier now.
