[Q] Search Button Fix...

First I'd like to say thank you for all the incredibly helpful information on here...I've been reading posts for a couple of weeks and now I think I've learned just enough to be dangerous...lol I have one question about an issue I've encountered. Recently installed my first ROM--DL09 Super Clean v0.4--and like the post said, I am now having issues with the held search key (seems like it's looking for Bing...says app not installed on phone when I press it) There was a fix posted; but my question is...how do I install this fix? The patch .zip file has 2 folders in it: META-INF and system/app...I'm guessing the files in the system/app folder replace the ones on my phone; but what do I do with the META-INF folder and files??

Pretty sure you flash it in cwr which is clockwork recorvery mod its a zip file so don't unzip just flash it

Any chance you can be a little more specific...I'm starting to learn how to use CWM, but definitely still a bit apprehensive.

Tried flashing it through CWM (think I did it right)...but I'm still getting "application is not installed on your phone" when I press and hold the search key.

Any ideas??
