[Q] Sensation Général Upgrade for ROM RADIO & HBOOT

Hi Everybody
I'm french so please excuse me for my bad english language

I'm on this forum since this morning, reading a lot of things, but i don't want to do any erros in my manipulations so I prefered ask before applying.

I've got a HTC Sensation :
HBOOT : 1.23.0000
Radio : 11.19.3504.29_2
Actual ROM : CM9.1 - unlocked and rooted

The problem is from lifetime battery. With a new HTC (official) high capacity battery, and after juste reinstall CM9.1 (reset battery stats too) my battery lifetime was finished after 14-16hours.

So i want to update my phone to use new radio / new HBOOT / and why not, New rom


For the rom, dont have any problème I can test some.

But i'm afraid about flashing radio and HBOOT so i need some help :

From HBOOT 1.23.0000 can i directly flash the latest version of HBOOT? Or must I do some transitions
Is there a risk to lost my unlocking / rooting with this manipulation?

Same question for Radio :
From Radio 11.19.3504.... can I directly use the latest one?



I think there are some answer tol ly questions in the forum but dont really know how to search it because i'm on very old versions of both ^^


I principally use my phone for work, so battery lifetime is verry important for me.

Look HERE
Follow this thread to the letter.
It will show you to install 4 EXT recovery,and how to upgrade the firmware /radio, so that you can install any of the latest ROMS.
It suggests ARHD,which is a good place to start.
The latest version is 7.3

There are also many CM/AOSP ROMS in the dev forum.

Ok fine Ext4 recovery installed and CM10 nightly last release.

Work like a charm at this time.
Charging full before do a battery stats reset

I hope those updates helps.
