I wasnt sure where to post this because I couldn't find any real information about the Telstra Version of the phone and associated ROMS, so here it goes.

I currently have the Sensation Telstra Version Z710a that uses the GSM network 850/1900MHZ.

I would like to install a custom rom because Telstra installs bloatware on top of the HTC vanilla and it really impacts the phone.

I have a stock Sensation and i have NEVER had a crash or slow down issue with it but due to where i work i needed the 850/1900 version which Telstra had and i have had slow downs, crashes and all sorts of problems.

So what i would like to do is install one of the latest custom ROMS, so i just need to ask a couple of questions to please point me in the right direction.

1. Would any ROM work with this version of the Sensation?

2. If I install a new version of the RADIO would/could that cause a problem because of the different network frequency it works on?

3. Could you please direct me to how i would proceed with what i need to do to install the custom ROM ( I have looked at the Energy Rom and the install process confuses me, is there a simpler explanation to what Radio and booting programs i need and will they work with the phone i have listed above?

I think thats about it, thanks in advance.

Thanks for that it helped alot although I installed another rom to the one he was talking about in the videos and it still worked.

There was one thing though, there is way to much information out there it was mind boggling and even though the clips helped there were things inbetween that i had to look for and figure out myself, which wasnt that bad but for a noob worse than me would find it to difficult.

Maybe there needs to be a tutorial that explains it from scratch on a how to, the above tutorial was great but some things were left out inbetween.

P.S I need to update by sig, lol, bit old now.
