Are you going to buy an Android tablet if iPad is same price as Android tablets? I am talking not RSRP, but something like $350 (I know it is not gonna happen, just assumption).

I have an Archos 70, an Acer Iconia A500, two iPod touch, a plam pixi plus, a kindle and several laptops. I can do Jailbreak, homebrew, rooting or anything like this.

While I do appreciate the versatility of Android, I do find them not reliable, and can not be trusted for serious work related stuff. Say, I just spent an hour try to figure out why my Iconia can not connect to my work wifi. It works sometime, but not always. When I need to quick check emails or something, it just loops around there obtaining IP. And as for Archos 70, more than 70% of time it is in this mode, and makes it almost useless (is this why they name it 70?).

People may say my work wifi has problem. Maybe, but all other devices work fine including itouch, Kindle, palm. What should I say?

I have custom rom on my Iconia.

So for me, if I can buy iPad at $350, I will definitely go with it. I got Iconia only because iPad is way overpriced, and I do not like the ecosystem of Apple.

So, how you guys think? if you have the choice, what do you pick?

Android Anyday!

After having to deal with iPads in a business environment I would say they are just as under prepared for a business environment as an Android tablet. Android tablets also give you greater versatility and with all the different ROMS out there I think the Android tablets will have greater longevity over an iPad. Just my 0.2c

Android hands down, for the flexibility of any apps you can imagine, and open concept, full of accessories, and plug ins, and ports, and devices variety to choose from, the possibility are endless

if you go ipad, you are stuck with that the fruit company force feed you down your nose

The only reason i have an iPad 2 is because my job got it for me. The funny part about it is that i use my Android phone more that iPad. I would definitely buy and Android tablet, preferably the 10" galaxy tab
