[Q] SGPT111US/S: Stuck at boot animation after failed JB install and hard reset

My tablet is stuck in a boot loop (continuous yellow animation) after a failed attempt at loading jellybean.

I accidentally chose the 3G version instead of the regular wifi version.

I did a hard reset (I know now I shouldn't have) and the system got stuck in the animation.

I tried loading a few zips from the SD card but none worked giving a "SKU" error ( ican try it again and give the specific error)

I am located in the united states.

any help appreciated, There is a lot of possible fixes and I am not sure which one to try. Sending it back to SONY will cost more than just buying a used one at this point. So instead of doing that I would prefer to do the fix myself.

If anyone can help with this it would be really appreciated. I work for a very popular museum in NYC and could return the favor with some tickets, or just pay it forward.

the plan is to send it to SONY and pay for them to fix it if it is less than $120 anything more than that and I am just going to abandon it.

I still have this Bricked tablet, I have just about given up on it. Is anyone here that is more experienced willing to try and unBrick it? I can mail it to you pay you $50 if you are successful

Do you think if this new method to boot android from SD Card can solve your bootloop problem?

I don't really know just a crazy idea, but you should contact the user and see if there's a way to recover tablets from bootloops.

You should not have been trying to flash jb in the first place!!! no jb for first gen sony tab never was or will be
You need to apply the rescue back door patch from the aio tool and then you can flash the required zip specfic to you tab and model and region but it looks like you removeed the usb debug by performing a hard reset so aio will not work now hard luck
You should have read more before trying do do someting your unfamiliar with
