Now that the HD plus is on the older side and Samsung will be replacing the Nook, I'm trying to decide how to replace my wife's HD+. The screen is cracked and I am sending it in for a SquareTrade replacement.

Do I buy a used one on Swappa for less than $100?
Buy one on ebay knowing I can get another ST warranty, but probably pay a little more?
Buy a newer, better performing tablet?

Other thoughts? I am getting $180 from ST, so I'd like to not go much past that if possible. I know asus and samsung make good quality tablets, but there are so many to choose from.

As a side note, I wouldn't complain if anyone has any thoughts on backing up the data. It'snot rooted.

Playing with Amazon a bit, I came up with these. Not sure why all Asus unless the "Wi-fi ready" box I checked is an Asus thing.

Right now leaning towards just getting another Nook on ebay for around $100 - $125 and getting ST from there. Kids use it sometimes, not sure if that's how, but the screen is cracked on the current one, which is why I am looking for something to get a ST on.

Well, I'm talking to myself I guess. I ended up getting one on ebay for now. Got it for less than $100.

Still looking for how to backup the old Nook within the next few hours before I send it in.
Go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature and make a CWM SD per item 1a. Use that to back up the device to SD.

Sent from my BN NookHD+ using XDA Premium HD app
