[Q] Sim Lock Question

Howdy folks,

I've recently bought an X8 for my daughter on Ebay and it's currently locked to Three UK.
I've done some searching here and noticed that most threads are saying that there are no free Sim Unlock ability for this phone. However, since the threads I browse through was way back in 2012/early 2013;
I was wondering if there's any free unlocks available now? or any methods I can try to get it unlock.

No, there is no free way to SIM-Unlock the Xperia X8 and probably never will be...
