Hi to all,

I have a Motorola Razr HD (xt925) with SlimKat 4.4.2 installed (Slim-xt925-4.4.2.build.4-OFFICIAL-3648), baseband version: VANQUISH_U_BP_100700.220.65.33P.

I'm starting the papers to switch from one company to another, and because the contract is over, my actual company gave me the 8 digit code to unlock the network, so I can use with any another one.

Here starts the problem, I inserted a SIM from the another company (one that uses my brother on a Moto G, already working) to my xt925 and the "SIM network unlock PIN" pop-up never appears (even after rebooting), so I can't unlock the network.

Any ideas where to go? Is a problem of the ROM or something else?

Thanks for all the support.

Leave the SIM for about 30 minutes and if the unlock screen does not show, dial #073887* to make the network code request appear. I got this information from an unlock service website. I do not know if I can mention it on the forum.

Leaving the SIM for about 30 min achieves nothing, and calling to that USSD number it just tries to call like it were a regular number (with any SIM).

Probably the best option that I have is back to the stock ROM, and see if there the network unlock PIN screen pops-up

Many thanks for the help. Really appreciated.

Hi trisstribs,

I have tried to unlock my xt925 but have the same problem you described where the prompt to enter the unlock code never comes up. Most technical support folks including Motorola suggest Factory Resetting, however I don't believe it will help. One tech support I spoke with agrees, saying that a Factory Reset will not make a difference because the unlock prompt initiates at the firmware level. Firmware runs before any android software. Just wondering if you were able to address this issue with your xt925.

Thx
