[Q] Simple Question About Updating Formerly Rooted LG Optimus.

I have an LG Optimus V (Virgin Mobile) that was rooted. I unrooted with Gingerbreak successfully and confirmed it with RootCheck. But BusyBox stayed installed. I heard that recently Sprint started rolling out the 2.3 (Gingerbread) update for the LG Optimus S (Sprint) and since Virgin is owned by Sprint, it probably means that Virgin is not far behind in releasing the update. My question is: When I get the update on my phone, will it be safe to accept the update, having BusyBox installed and being formerly rooted?

Are you sure? Cause i heard that if you have a rooted phone you have to install a rooted version of the update.
