[Q] Slimkat external speaker issue

I have been using the slimkat rom on my Captivate and I love it, but the speakerphone and external sounds (notification text tone call tone) are spotty. Sometimes they work but its pretty rare. I never hear my text or ring tone. Can't post this in the development forum since I am a new member. Is there a way I can get the external speaker working / does anyone else have similar problems?

It may be a hardware issue

Hi,

I think there is a problem on your external speaker not slimkat (because i also use the same rom & no issues for me).. Try to install another rom & check. (my mobile also have some loud speaker issue over past 6 months, i fixed it by giving it to a mobile repair shop, now no issues)
