[Q] Slow tethering

I get around ~5Mb (600KB/s) download on my phone (tested via "Bandwith" App) with HSPA.

With tethering, my laptop will at best reach 80KB/s

Have you experienced this ?

My laptop is perfectly fine, and others users with same carrier reported high speed with tethering on iPhone / Samsung Galaxy S2

Had the same problem. Tracked it down to my windows XP laptop and iPod touch having slow tethering.

On my Windows 7 laptop and Kobo Vox (Android) ereader speeds where as expected.
