[Q] Slow USB Transfer?

I just bought a brand new SD card, 16gig class 4. I notice that the transfer rate is extremely slow when USB mounted, ranging from 100kbps - 200kbps. I also have noticed this on my older SD as well.

My setup:
-CyanogenMod Latest Nightly.
-DTApps2SD Script with ~1gb ext3 partition with 32mb swap, deactivated swap.

I was wondering if it is an Android problem or possibly a problem with my Darktremor's Apps to SD setup. I also have dalvic cache moved to SDEXT as well, but I don't think that is a problem. Thanks for your time.

You can use something like dual mount our even boot into recovery and it will transfer much faster. just don't use the native usb mount.

Thanks, I'll try that app out. I have tried to sync over recovery and it is a bit faster, about 2mbps, but sometimes can drop back to around 200kbps, but usually bounces back up. Any reason why this problem is with Android?

don't think so. or try adb to pull or push files.

I am hearing from a few different people that they have the same problems, some have different phones as well. That is kind of weird, can it be the kernel version?
