So I can't find this answered in anywhere else, and decided to come here.

I have a SM-P600 Rooted with TWRP Recovery, Permissive Kernel, Busybox, SuperSU and terminal(not that it matters).
And a 32GB Class10 MicroSD card.
I went to follow this guide.

My configurations are as follows:
a. Distribution - Ubuntu
b. Distribution suite - P
c. Architeture - armhf
d. Mirror URL - http://18.7.29.125/ubuntu-ports/
e. Installation type - File
f. Installation path - /storage/emulated/0/ubuntudg.img
g. Image size - Automatic calculation
h. File system - Auto
i. User name - android
j. DNS server - Automatic detection
k. Localization - en_US.UTF-8
l. Desktop environment - Gnome
m. Select components - all
n. SSH STARTUP - checked
o. GUI STARTUP - checked
p. Graphic subsystem - VNC
q. GUI settings:
- Display - 0,
- Depth - 24,
- DPI - 270,
- Width - 2560,
- Height - 1600
r. Custom mounts - check
s. Mount points - /mnt/extSdCard/VMs [or /mnt/extSdCard/ ; /mnt/0/ and /mnt/emulated/ also give an error]

After the Deploy options have been set, I push the Stop Button, and then Start Button.
And it gives me the following:
Code:
>>> beguin: start
Mounting partitions:
/ ... fail
<<< end: start
I've cleared data and cache and re-installed the app, there is no change the error remains.

I can't continue without it mounting the partition. Any tips/Ideas/Help with this?

I hate to do this (bump) but I would really appreciate some help. I'm learning OS and I still don't have the necessary skills to solve this issue myself.

Experiencing same issue in Galaxy S5 g900r4 (US Cellular varient). I'm going to take a wild guess and say the mount parameters are outdated and incorrect. I'll take a look and see if I can figure it out, however, (contrary to my senior title) I am no Linux expert. It would be much better if a developer or equally experienced member looked at the configuration script.
